Mason Police maintains a variety of records pursuant to state and federal law. See below for different sections on records and reporting.

The Records Office is the main repository of information for criminal incidents and all reportable motor vehicle accident reports. The Records Office is also the first point of contact for citizens and visitors to Police Headquarters who are seeking information. Mason Police keeps the Mason community informed of crimes, threats, and emergencies on campus in compliance with the federal law known as the Clery Act. View Clery Act Reporting page for more information.

Mason Police complies with the Virginia Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) by responding to all requests for incident reports and other public records in our custody. View Freedom of Information Act page for more information.
