From Monday, July 9th to Friday, July 20th, University Police and several local law enforcement agencies will be conducting emergency response training at the Robinson A building on the Fairfax Campus. There will be a number of "Police Training" signs and caution tape posted to alert anyone in the area. You may see a large number of police with training weapons, actors playing the role of injured victims, and even an occasional hovering helicopter. Do not be alarmed. This type of realistic, scenario-based training is vital public safety training and is very important to the overall safety and security program at Mason.
