Training: The university provides both on line and in person to departments and groups seeking more information on how to prevent and respond to violence on campus. For a complete list of training programs please visit the On Campus Violence Training Page.

Workplace and On Campus Violence Response Guide: Following guidance and procedures applies to all George Mason University, faculty, staff, students, and visitors and is provided to assist in identifying potentially violent persons and recommends actions that should be taken if a person is threatening or becomes violent.

Training Video: Short video designed to help you identify and respond to on campus violence is available on mymason.gmu.edu (i.e., Blackboard ®). To access the video long into blackboard and select “Add Module”, search for “Emergency Preparedness”. This module will provide a revolving series of emergency preparedness tips and resources.   Shots Fired® is a nationally recognized video that is used throughout intuitions of higher education.
